I was surprised to see the Christmas lighting for 2009 go up last week. We are barely nearing the end of October and already workers are stringing the lights and decorations across Tanglin Road and Orchard Road. Are we efficient or what?
I also saw Christmas decorations outside Tanglin Mall over the weekend. It is just astounding how the malls are getting a headstart on this year Christmas decorations.

guess tough times plus all the new malls popping up, everyone wants to get a headstart and get the sales in soon. coincidentally, i'm wearing my Snowman/Snowflake silver pendent today already.. ho ho ho :)
Tangs had also sent out their Christmas pre-order catalogue last week, right? (and I sooo want the Harajuku Lovers Snow Bunnies EDT collection) ;)

I didn't receive Tangs catalogue! Maybe cos I hardly spend there now? Lol.
Finally the truth is out on why Christmas decor is up early - it was brought forward because of APEC Summit, so that the delegates can experience Christmas shopping/atmosphere in Singapore. It was reported in the papers a few days ago. Hahahahaha!
