I am super late with this post since the Mid-Autumn Festival is over. I did not buy many mooncakes as there were so many boxes at home. However since I prefer snowskin mooncakes, I bought just one as a treat for myself as nobody else likes it.
I decided to forgo my usual purchase from Fairmont Singapore and bought this champagne truffle snowskin mooncake from Shang Palace, Shangri-La instead. It was very nice, without the cloying sweetness of the filling. The champagne was delicate and not overpowering too.
