This was the first time I ordered the ayam gulai from the ayam panggang stall at the food court in Plaza Singapura. It did not look as appetizing as ayam panggang but it was surprisingly tasty.The mild curry was not very spicy and there was a light hint of coconut in the curry. Given a choice, I would go for the ayam panggang over ayam gulai just because I prefer the slightly sweet taste of the panggang gravy.
The chicken was very tender that the meat just fell off the bone. It was nice.

oh i always remembered this stall with super long queue. and i believe this is one of the pioneers that started a chain of other ayam panggang stalls in other food courts.
tiong bahru plaza has one too, but i personally think the one at plaza singapura is still one of the better ones around (for food court standards), generous servings too :)
