Creamy pasta with tomatoes, bacon and mushrooms

A simple home cooked dish. Penne in cream sauce with honey tomatoes, crispy bacon broken into pieces and sauteed sliced mini portobello mushrooms.

I love mini portobello mushrooms. They are so much easier to handle and the woody smokey taste lent so much more flavor than fresh button mushrooms. The bacon was grilled to a crisp, and I used the bacon fats to cook the mushrooms. Lovely meal.

I did not have a recipe with me to create the cream sauce when I was at the supermarket and decided to go the easy route by grabbing one of those sauce mix :p
