A simple home cooked dish. Penne in cream sauce with honey tomatoes, crispy bacon broken into pieces and sauteed sliced mini portobello mushrooms.I love mini portobello mushrooms. They are so much easier to handle and the woody smokey taste lent so much more flavor than fresh button mushrooms. The bacon was grilled to a crisp, and I used the bacon fats to cook the mushrooms. Lovely meal.
I did not have a recipe with me to create the cream sauce when I was at the supermarket and decided to go the easy route by grabbing one of those sauce mix :p
