Sin Heng Kee

The only up side from going to the awful Prestige Warehouse Sale was meeting Celest for lunch at the super yummy looking Sin Heng Kee chicken rice stall which was at Hoy Fatt Road, across from the sale.

A plate for two of us. We had roasted chicken meat (so flavorful and delicious, not dry and hard. it was tender and juicy too), stewed hardboiled egg, beancurd, char siew (bbq pork), roasted pork belly, with a coleslaw like veggies and tomato and cucumber.

The char siew was soft and quite nice. The roasted pork belly had very crispy skin that I just could not resist eating it. And I am still not really a pork eater. Lol. The rice had the chicken rice aroma which made it so easy to just gobble it down. The chili was quite spicy so a saucer was more than enough.
It came with a huge bowl of soup filled with generous servings of cabbages and carrots. All these for only $8. Amazing cheap and good meal. $4 each.

The drinks stall could be better though. The iced milo was so diluted it seemed to be just sugar and water. Apparently the coffee and tea were equally bad.
