Tampopo @ Clarke Quay

We went to Tampopo over at Clarke Quay on NYE for dinner. We got there late, around 915pm but luckily they were still open and serving food. I have heard lots about Tampopo and its black pig so I decided to try the specialty black pig ramen.

The meat was very thin and there was quite a strong porky taste to it so I didn't really enjoy it that much. Luckily the meat was so thin that it was not too unpalatable for me. The ramen noodle was pretty good, springy and not overcooked. The soup was spicy. Nice.

The stewed egg was already all sold out by then, so I only added the extra order of roasted pork. That was not too bad. I would still prefer Marutama for its char siew and egg.
