Island Creamery

I heard about Island Creamery through CC. It is at Serene Centre along Bukit Timah Road, facing the junction. Island Creamery is fascinating because of the local flavors available. Pulot Hitam ice cream, anyone?

I couldn't resist the myriad of flavors available and ordered a 2 scoops icecream - Teh Tarik and ReversO (dark chocolate with oreo bits). The teh tarik really tastes like teh tarik, except it is not as sweet as the drink itself. The ReversO is so good. The bittersweet dark chocolate with the crunchy oreo bits is so heavenly.

I also tried the kahlua latte, very nice. Davis ordered the Horlicks ice cream and it just tastes like Horlicks. Hehe. Livia said the chendol is fantastic too. I heard there is a Tiger icecream (I assume that is Tiger Beer ice cream). There is also peanut butter icecream and lots more.

It is pretty much a no-frills place; small on presentation but big on taste. There are also complimentary pockey sticks and milo or horlicks powder to sprinkle on the ice cream. There are other desserts like baked alaska, brownies, mudpies, etc.
