MOS Burger

I wrote about the Fan-tastic Burger from MacDonalds, and now here is a post on MOS Burger. It is a franchaise from Japan, and their specialty is in rice burger. Instead of buns, the burgers are made with rice patties.

My usual favorite is the Yakiniku rice burger as the beef is very tender and soft. But recently MOS Burger has this organic scallop rice burger and I tried that. Boy, am I hooked on it now! Maybe I got lucky and the burger was freshly made. There were so many scallops in the patty, all stuck together and breaded and fried. It was topped with 3 beans (not sure if it is french bean or the japanese bean) which were fried ala tempura style.

The warm crispy scallop patty made all the difference. The sauce is a bit salty but I can live with it as it goes very well with the rice patties.

The fries are a favorite too. Thick and chunky and especially delicious when freshly made.
