Has anyone noticed that the prices have gone up for Haagen Dazs desserts and ice cream? It is very pricey now when a scoop of ice cream is almost $10 after taxes. Anyway, I decided to try the Affogato which essentially means "drowned". A scoop of vanilla ice cream drowned with espresso.
Voila! My affogato. I must say it is a bit too bitter for my liking. Yes, I am not a true coffee connoisseur since I like my coffee to be white and sweet :p I don't take it black at all. The ice cream is not enough to take off the bitter edge of it. Probably perfect for those who like their daily dose of strong caffeine.
