PY made brekkie/brunch the first morning I was in Toronto. Just a simple meal of mushroom cheese omelette, grilled tomatoes and toast with kaya and butter. The bacon was too badly crisped so that was dumped.
I love the way he made the toast. Nicely browned and toasty. I must get that toaster one day. All the appliances in Canada seemed to be "computerized". Everything has a keypad to enter the time and temperature. No more knobs to turn. And the stove has a flat glass surface. You don't see the fire or gas or ring. So different now.
